Reflection
Through user testing, it can more directly help me understand the shortcomings of the prototype I am currently designing. As a designer, I know what the estimation is for each step, and I have ideas in my mind. But Users have fresh eyes. Through their user experience, they can find out which steps need to be improved and guided. This process helped me optimize the date-setting function of the Dream Journal page, as well as the ONE-ON-ONE page. Users are confused about these two parts before, so I added text and icons to guide users, and add more detailed pages to show the functional operating system.
I re-adjusted the use of blur effect type, this style is only used in short sentences, such as home page and dream journal. Other functional pages use regular fonts.
Regarding the processing of images, I tried to push myself in a more irregular, abstract and dreamy direction this time. The fragmented feel of the photo and the combination of different scenes allow the image to occupy the page in an abnormal form. I hope this time it will be more dreamy and abstract than last time.
This week I organized the user flow, task flow, and wireframe of the app deliverable. Since I don't need to design all functional pages in this course, I only need to design the homepage, about page, and recording diary page. So I focused on the recording function and explained it in a more intuitive style. Because the purpose of this function is to allow users to spend the least time recording their dreams, I placed a recording icon on the homepage of the app so that users can record as soon as they open the app.
